Biocore completed construction of the 2nd largest gas to grid injection plant in the UK. The plant was constructed in conjunction with a biogas upgrading unit from GreenLane BioGas.

 

The plant utilises energy crop as a feedstock and in conjunction with local farmers produces enough energy to heat over 50,000 homes. The plant is generating substantial revenues for the local community and has 5 full time jobs on site with many more in associated contracts.

 

In the last quarter of 2015 Biocore successfully completed a transaction with a UK based investment company to sell a majority stake in the development.
