Congratulations Sean Allen
BT Young Scientist of the Year

Sean won the 1st Senior Individual prize at the BT Young Scientist 2024 for his project, "Rooting for Sustainability - An Exploration of more sustainable grassland nutrient management". The carbon neutral fertiliser he is developing has generated 53% more grass growth compared to 10-10-20 fertiliser.  With the help of Biocore digestate company which processes the organic waste he has brought the venture to commercial scale assessment.  Sean's aim is bring his research to Bord Bia and Dáil Éireann to outline its merits.

The Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association

We will be attending the ADBA conference  in 2024 and are proud to be entrants in the Net Zero Circular Solutions Award.

Supporting Future Talent

We have recently partnered with Sean Allen the BT Young Scientist of the Year winner in 2022.  The winning project was about the long-term effects of a more sustainable method of keeping nutrients in the soil as an alternative to artificially made granule.

We are delighted to support Sean with his research on his next project.
