Chief Executive Officer
Declan Murray
Declan holds an MBA in Business Administration from University College Dublin (UCD) and has developed significant expertise in business process re-engineering and strategic analysis. This expertise has been instrumental in the development and operation of two anaerobic digestion plants located in the UK and Ireland, which collectively achieve an output of 9MW.
Under Declan's leadership, Biocore Environmental manages over 100,000 tonnes of sludge and biosolids services annually, serving a diverse range of clients across public and private sectors. He is dedicated to the strategic expansion of the network of biomethane anaerobic digestion plants throughout Ireland.
Chief Finance Officer
Evan Dolan
Evan is a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager and Finance Director, boasting a robust background in both private and public sectors across Ireland, Europe, and North America. He has expertise in business acquisition, disposal, transformation, and comprehensive financial management. As an enthusiastic leader, Evan has a proven track record in developing and implementing financial processes and procedures that align with organizational and business strategies.
Chief Technical Officer
James Russell
James Russell, MSc BEng, serves as the Chief Technical Officer at Biocore Environmental Ltd. With over 15 years of experience in the construction and renewable energy sectors, he is responsible for identifying and developing strategic project opportunities. In this role, he offers valuable insights into engineering and construction activities across Biocore’s key business areas, which include renewable energy project development, waste management, sludge and biosolids management, and research and development.
HR Manager
Louise McKenna
Louise is our HR manager and holds a BSc in Psycholgy and DBS diploma in Human Resource Managment. She has experience in both multi-national and start-ups and has held roles in customer service, finance, accounts, social media and database management.
Contracts and Compliance Manager
Brenna Matturro
Brenna holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Community and Environmental Planning. With a solid background in farming, Brenna collaborates closely with our farmers to address their spreading needs while ensuring compliance with all relevant authorities.
Accounts Admin
Nicola Melia
Nicola has over 12 years professional experience in accounts and office admin and she provides a vital support role and excellent admin skills to the team.
